"Heaven on earth" The central disc (Chinese Pi) is symbol of heaven, the tendrilling vine represents the earth and growth. There are two vines one either side, they symbolize the male and female aspects of spirit harmoniously joined as one, with the symbol of heaven, manifested in the beloved Jade. The vines loop over the Pi nine times the number of God, they loop over themselves eight times the Chinese lucky number. This carving represents harmony, spiritual growth, oneness and the certainty of our return.... |
