Maori flax woven pikau, kete and fish... The pikau (backpacks), kete (bags, baskets) and fish (with paua shell) are all made from flax, also the platted strings are made from flax. The large backpacks have a paua shell attached to them. Paua shell is a New Zealand shell. All pikau, kete and fish are one-off pieces, but can be commissioned when sold.
