The toki trophy is inspired by the traditional Māori adze, a tool known as the toki. A toki was originally crafted from stone or greenstone (pounamu). They were used for carving waka (canoes), buildings, and for intricate woodwork. We feature the fern, kiwi and double koru designs.Meaning
