The NZ South Pacific fairies are inlaid with natural or yellow tinted pāua, or inlaid with Pacific pearl shell and come boxed as a set of three - all fairies have a silver string, so you can hang the fairies in your tree or on the wall.

Pōhutukawa fairy

Pōhutukawa tree with its display of brilliant red flowers, is an established part of Aotearoa, NZ Christmas tradition. Also known in NZ Māori culture as a symbol of strength and beauty. A chiefly tree that can grow to 25m high.

Silver fern fairy

Silver fern or ponga. According to Māori legend, the Silver Fern once lived in the sea. It was asked to come and live in the forest to play a role in guiding the Māori people. The underside of the leaves, when bent over, catch the moonlight and illuminate a path through the forest. Now a distinctly NZ symbol with embodies the natioinal spirit.

Kōwhai fairy

Kōwhai is one of New Zelaand's best known native trees. The brilliant yellow flowers is the unofficial national flower. The name kōwhai is the Māori word for 'yellow'. The eight different species are all woody legumes with a very distinctive segmented pods which appear after flowering.
