Māori cloaks created from faux fur

Full length Māori Cloak. This cloak is made from black faux fur with green-tipped brown rooster feather trim at top.

The draw string cord means the cloak can be brought in or out to fit different size adults. Fully lined with faux suede and washable. Made in our beautiful Aotearoa, New Zealand.

Korowai

A korowai is a traditional Māori cloak. In the early days, a korowai would be hand woven and take nearly a year to complete. A handwoven korowai is quite expensive and you will be looking at a few thousand dollars.

Contemporary feather cloaks are also quite popular.

Faux fur cloaks

The faux fur cloaks we feature are lined with faux suede. Very comfortable to wear. And being able to adjust the strings makes the cloak suitable for all shapes and sizes.

Feathers used have been imported into New Zealand after disinfectant treatment, fumigated and cleared by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. As New Zealand’s import restrictions are the strictest in the world this product can be safely sent or taken into any other country in the world.
