Vivienne Burns of Shosheret has 22 years of experience in all aspects of the Jewellery Industry, recently returning from 2 years working in Hatton Garden (the Diamond District in London (UK)), and 6 years working in Israel, for one of the country’s leading Designers, hand making fine jewellery, and developing new patterns/models.

After completing a formal apprenticeship in 1985, she has worked in various manufacturing businesses, ranging from large factory situations, to a small workshop attached to a shop, and a workshop specializing in doing repair work. She has worked in several areas of these businesses, including hand making jewellery, product development and pattern making, stock control, gemstone purchasing, and office management.

Vivienne holds the Advanced Trade Certificate in Manufacturing Jewellery of New Zealand, and the Diploma of Gemmology, from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain.
