Te
Reo Maori, the Maori language.
A
lot of Maori words are used in New Zealand daily.
'Kia ora', hello!
The
Maori language is very descriptive, one of our favourite Maori words
is ''Aotearoa", land of the long white cloud, the name given
to New Zealand by the Maori.
To
learn 'te reo Maori', the Cultureflow

The book is divided into 8 sessions.
In every session, we introduce new concepts and we put those concepts
into a conversation, as you would normally hear it.
The concepts are then explained in more detail over the following
pages.
There is also a revision session at the end of each session which
captures the main concepts of the session and are to be worked
on before the next session.
We also introduce up to 10 new words to learn before the next
class.
Lastly is pronunciation practice where we practice a particular
sound. (also on audio CD)
- an audio
CD-ROM
The audio contains all the conversations seen in the book.
It also has 5-second pauses between the Mäori and the English
translation to allow listeners to hear the Mäori and repeat
it back.
It also contains the pronunciation practice in the revision part
of the book and all of the vocabulary.
- an interactive
CD-ROM
The CD-ROM contains the whole programme and is the centrepiece
of the cultureflow® system.
It contains all of the programme with animated sessions, roll
overs and pronunciation tool. It also contains all of the answers
to the revision sessions.
The interactive CD-ROM provides a: pronunciation programme focussing
on dipthongs, consonants, vowels and other basic sounds in Te
Reo Mäori.
It also contains animated learning sessions and cartoon characters
to make learning fun.
