"Opo"

The friendly dolphin

dolphin carving

Opo was named after 'Opononi', a small bay in the Hokianga Harbour, north of Auckland.

Opo had a lot of 'aroha' (love) for the people, especially children...

Dolphins are a good omen... dolphins are a symbol of friendship and harmony.
