I just wanted to let you know that my Tiki arrived yesterday and it is fabulous! I put it on straight away and am wearing it again today - I just want to show it off; I'm going to have to restrain myself from buying more in different colours! Greetings from a sunny warm morning in England - the grass is green, the flowers are blooming nicely, the birds are fledging their young and tomorrow.......rain predicted! We can't really complain as we have just has the warmest April on record. I was at work, my husband Geof was at home with Phil, my youngest who is on study leave from college at the moment when they heard the sound of the post arriving. Phil got up and went into the hall and picked up the mail - nothing unusual, they were sorting out the letters when Geof became aware that Kirsty was walking around with something in her mouth....... You guessed it - she had in her mouth one nice new ruler (of course still in its packaging) of which she was immensely proud! Kirsty had been a VERY good girl though and obviously read your instructions about do not bend or CHEW! She gave up her prize and not a tooth mark could be found anywhere on the packaging so needless to say that the ruler is in pristine condition!
What amazed us was that in the year that we have had her (from when she was 6 weeks old) Kirsty has NEVER once bothered with or even looked at the post and more to the point - Phil went to pick up the post straight away - no one saw Kirsty get up and go to the hall first to pick up the parcel - she must have reacted instantly the ruler arrived or even as the postman walked up the drive?!
Well, all we can think is that her incredible canine powers of smell must have come into play and Kirsty finds NZ wood just irresistible...
Anyway, the ruler has arrived safely and Geof was absolutely delighted. The ruler remains safely put away - still inside all the packaging that you posted it in (for safe keeping) and this just leaves us to say a VERY BIG THANK YOU for all your help.
