Have received fishhook safely and I am delighted with it. It is a Christmas present for my mother who travels a lot, hence my choice of a symbol which protects over water. Our equivalent symbol is a St. Christopher, the patron saint of travellers; but I'm sure your hei matau will be more unique! Thank your golfer Michael Campbell for making me aware of this piece of Maori jewellery as it was mentioned during a golf tournament on TV here in which he was competing. Today in the morning I got a parcel from Aotearoa. Not bad, but inside I found a wonderful fishhook what I've got from you a few days before. Now I have two of this but I don't need this two. Maybe it is possible to sell the second one. What could I do now?

I got the package yesterday, that was fast! The twist is beautiful and I'm sure my husband will be quite happy with it. It'll be a Christmas gift for him, to substitute a twist he bought years ago while traveling in New Zealand. He dropped it on the tile floor and broke in several pieces.

Auckland is beautiful this time of year -- enjoy! We are, of course, getting into our late Fall season here outside of New York City and the mountains in NY State have already seen snow.
